Mel and Dom

Mel and Dom | Swynford Manor | Six Mile Bottom | Cambridgeshire | 25th October 2021

I could just write two words to say it all, Swynford Manor. This is one of the finest wedding venues for your perfect wedding. It is not a palace, nor is it a mansion set on acres of land filled with lakes, dear and follies. It is simply a “delightfully different” wedding venue that has all that you need. And If you are here in the Autumn, then prepare for full vibrance of Autumnal colours.

Mel and Dom had a church wedding at St. Mary and the Holy Host of Heaven church, in Cheveley. It was about 15 minutes away from Swynford Manor, so this was a perfect location for anyone wanting a religious wedding followed by the celebrations at the manor. It is always polite practice to speak with the vicar/priest prior to the wedding ceremony because they all have their own restrictions for photography. After the wedding, it was confetti time at the manor. The venue usually favour confetti by the steps on the side of the venue if the ceremony was held at the venue. So, it was down to me to chose the location for their confetti shot. Well, with the light being just right, it had to be the front of the venue for that.

For Mel and Dom’s shoot after the confetti, there was so much colour shouting at me from the red and orange hues of Autumn. Framing was perfect and there were some lovely shots through the leaves of them. You will notice a lot of laughter in the photo gallery and this is what I do. I am 3 words, FUN, VIBRANT and CREATIVE. I have a habit of being me, the person you booked. I have a habit of being creative and I use vibrancy with a hint of fun to bring you my style.
